Ray Ogden

Ray lives and works in Cumbria's Eden Valley between the Lakeland and Pennine fells. A former BBC TV designer, freelance illustrator and lecturer, he studied graphic design at Liverpool College of Art and the Royal College of Art. Working now primarily as a printmaker, using digital drawing programmes, he is able to blend normally disparate media in a single image. References to Ray's interest in indigenous people's art forms are usually evident in his work, along with a fascination with the relationship between illusion and realism in the drawn image.
