Vivian Riches

Vivian, who lives in Kent, has a degree in Printed Textile Design from Loughborough University. She paints vibrant, loose, semi-abstract landscape and floral images, inspired by the natural surroundings, countryside and coastline of the north east of England. Although increasingly using mixed media, she has always loved the unpredictable nature of watercolour, the freedom it brings and the way it creates "happy accidents", resulting in some beautiful colour combinations and effects.
